Appointments and Communications Policy

To ensure that all clients receive the attention and preparation their matters deserve, all phone calls and meetings must be scheduled in advance. Christopher L. Doran is not available for unscheduled calls or walk-in discussions.

No one may speak with Chris without an appointment, including judges, court staff, attorneys, or other professionals, except as required during scheduled court proceedings.

Phone calls will not be returned unless a voicemail is left that clearly includes:

• Your full name

• A return phone number

• The reason for your call or the issue you wish to discuss

Voicemails that do not include this information will not receive a response.

This policy allows Chris to focus on client representation, court obligations, and case preparation without interruption. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Communication While Incarcerated

To protect your privacy and the integrity of your case, I do not accept phone calls from jail facilities. Because jail calls can be recorded and monitored by the state, speaking about your case over the phone can put your attorney-client privilege at risk.

If you or a loved one are currently incarcerated, the best way to reach me is through the mail. Letters allow us to communicate securely and provide a clear written record of your concerns, ensuring I can give your matter the detailed attention it deserves.
